I spent all day Saturday at the Ray Hunt clinic in beautiful Pasadena. I usually try to get to events a tad early, this was no excetion.  Since I was there early, I had the opportunity to talk with Ray and thank him for all the advice and knowlegde that I have gotten from him over the years and then just talked about lif in general.  It was a very special 20 minutes.  Men like him are few and far between in this world.

This weekend I am going to hear the “Master of Communication” Ray Hunt.  This will be about the 8th or 9th time that I have watched one of his riding clinics.  It’s amazing what you can pick up when you sit down and open up your mind.  Also it’s always fun to watch as the riders as they start out as a group of folks that are very nervous and trying too hard to not make a mistake in front of Ray on day one to riders that are communicating much better at the end of day two (I know what it feels like as I have ridden in two of these clinics).  The biggest bonus is the fact that my trainer Kathleen will be riding in the clinic and I’m sure that everything that she learns will end up trickling down to to those of us who take lessons from her.
